Spiritual aspirants are invited by Swami Rama Dhyana Gurukulam to receive the knowledge and practical disciplines of the Meditation Tradition of the great yogis of the Himalayas in the ancient and contemporary context and gain entry into the inner Self and realize the highest goal of life.

Although there are many institutions introducing people into various meditation methods, the specialty of the Himalayan tradition is that it includes hundreds of the paths leading to inner Self, taught systematically according to the capacity of the aspirant, emotional state and the state of his subtle body.

Yoga has been now reduced to mere physical exercise. We teach hatha yoga in the context of meditation.

In today’s pseudo-spiritual market, Patañjali’s Yoga Sutras and Tantrik Kundalini Yoga are practiced blindly and people are misled. Here those practices are traditionally rooted and given according to the capacity of the aspirant.

At present, the study of the scriptures like Bhagavad Gita and Upanishads is mainly done by treating them as texts of philosophy and doctrine or on the basis of logic, grammar, etc. These texts were acquired in the state of samadhi or deep absorption of the mind-field in the inner Self, the source of Consciousness and Bliss. Thus they are guides to the path of samadhi and without the realization of deep meditation, their meaning cannot be comprehended. We teach these texts in the context of meditation practice.
